I am Peter ter Haar, Geospatial Management Consultant.
For over 35 years I have been helping people take better decisions through the use of geographical information and mapping.
I am a Board-level innovator with a wide experience in leadership, product management and technology aspects of geographical information systems, geospatial data, location-based services and mobile solutions. Within international corporate, small start-up and public sector organisations I have developed existing teams to new levels and built new capabilities from scratch. I have managed large teams, through direct and matrixed reporting lines, in multiple countries.
I am recognised worldwide as a leading professional within the geospatial information sector, representing the UK at the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management and advocating worldwide standards and policies in Geospatial and Mapping.
